BIG day today at our old home salvage project

It was a big milestone day at our old home salvage project.

We spent the morning removing the rest of the roofing shingles and underlying decking.  FINALLY!  Yay!

Then, we started the fun process of removing roof rafters and walls.

The house is coming down .. and it’s coming down FAST at this point!

The roof is gone … finally!

First wall starts coming down

Open roof

One wall removed with unencumbered view to neighbor’s yard

House frame remaining

Roof  gone

About Me

Welcome to my blog! I'm Kim and I live and breathe vintage. My company deconstructs old houses, then we build new, "old" houses and renovate existing homes (including our own) using reclaimed materials. If you love salvage, repurposing, and vintage, then we hope you'll stay awhile and check us out.
