Yes, we love our dogs – a chihuahua mix and a beagle 🙂
Your post touches on something dear to my heart. I have never been without a dog (or two or three) my entire life (60+ years). And it’s always been bigger dogs (40 pounds or more). The best thing my husband and I ever did was to adopt two dogs at the same time about 12 years ago. When we lost Jack, our Great Pyrenees mix, to cancer in 2011, we didn’t wait long to rescue a male companion for the female (Bailey) who was adopted with Jack. I could never imagine life without my furry family members.
