We’ve been featured

We just got paid a huge compliment, and I can’t resist the opportunity to share it with you.

Totally Home Improvement is a monster blog, followed by over 18,000 home improvement followers on Twitter, Facebook, and Pinterest.

Living Vintage has been featured on the site as one of the best home improvement & DIY blogs out there.

I was surprised to see that we’re listed as number 20 out of a list of 101 blogs!

Here’s what Jason had to say about Living Vintage:

Your blog is the real deal Kim…I love vintage themed blogs…but am so weary of the next blog featuring how to decorate your mantel with pumpkins :–) Your blog is professional and inspiring.

Well, I guess I know to never decorate with pumpkins. (LOL. Just kidding!) I usually don’t “theme” decorate very much. About the only “theme” I go all out on occasionally is Christmas, and still my husband and I choose not to go whole hog. It’s just me and him, and we normally travel to see family during that time. Over time, we just decided it was too much work for the brief time we got to enjoy it. We’ll probably put up a small tree, but that will be about it. I enjoy my mom’s Christmas decorations instead. 🙂

Your blog really is a breath of fresh air. I saw your bathroom post on Pinterest…so I dashed over to your blog and read today’s post. We have a Jack Russel mix dog that looks a lot like yours…shown in the shower :–) He’s bigger because he is part Border Collie as well. I had the funniest dream about him last night…we won a contest that was going to give us $12,500…IF we gave up our dog. My husband & I looked at each other and immediately shook our heads “no”! Isn’t that the funniest? Do you love your little Jack Russel guy as much as we do? :–)

Ha! That is indeed a funny dream. I’d probably be like you, too. I could not imagine life without Kacy. I just adore her. I love her spunk, her energy, and she’s just so sweet, especially in the evenings.
