Friday Favorites #16

Friday Favorites - Living Vintage

Happy Friday, Friends.

I’m off to go work at our salvage project in Jacksonville.

But first, I wanted to publish this post and extend an apology to all my blogging friends —  I am so far behind in reading the blogs that I thoroughly enjoy.   I promise I will get caught up as soon as our project is done!

a happy lady with her cow - Friday Favorites - Living VintageI love this photograph:  seeing the old lady’s delight for her jersey cow.

beauty of a vine against a building - Friday Favorites - Living VintageI know vines like this aren’t good for buildings (are they?), but the vine against the white is beautiful nevertheless.

he took my face in his hands - Friday Favorites - Living VintageHe took my face in his two hands . . .  Went on and on throughout eternity.

Do I need to say any more about this photo?

gorgeous porch trim - Friday Favorites - Living VintageThe dainty black porch trim is amazing, don’t you agree?

animals used as therapy - Friday Favorites - Living VintageI think pet therapy is sometimes better than medicine.

winter laundry - Friday Favorites - Living VintageWhen I first saw this image, I thought heavy starch might have caused the stiffness, but then I saw the title: winter laundry.

the cat's expression is priceless - Friday Favorites- Living VintageThis is just a photo that made me laugh out loud.  The cat’s expression is priceless!

You never fail to find a group of interesting photos to share, Kim! I love the porch library sign. Our oldest daughter’s neighborhood in Minneapolis has little book houses (like big mailboxes) on the boulevards where you can borrow or donate books. I love the idea! Happy Friday!

In the old Austin neighborhood where I used to live, one of my neighbors at the end of the street had one of those. I think it’s a great idea!

What great photos. I really love the one about kisses going on throughout eternity. I would love to know the story behind that one. What a treasure. Thanks for sharing all those terrific pictures.

I’d love to know the story also. Unfortunately, I had no luck when I tried to dig in and find that out.
