Young, Wild and Free

This little girl was so young, wild and free. Fascinating story.

Have you seen the story about the little girl named Tippi Degré?

I thought her story is absolutely fascinating.   The photos just mesmerized me when I first saw them.

So young, wild, and free.

I wanted to step back in time and be her for a day.

Let me tell you just a tad about her.

She was born and raised in Africa.  Her parents, wildlife photographers, taught her to be a free spirit.  During her stay there, she became friends with wild animals, including a leopard nicknamed J&B, crocodiles, lion cubs, giraffes, an ostrich, meerkats, a baby zebra, a cheetah, a Caracal, a snake, an African Grey Parrot, giant bullfrogs and chameleons.  She also became friends with the native people, who taught her their language and how to survive on roots and berries.

She is now an adult, living in Paris.  She wrote one book, Tippi – My Book of Africa and her father helped write another, Tippi of Africa.
