I spotted this old arrow and star sign on an abandoned gas station.  Mark and I have been wanting to buy an antique arrow, and I yelled “stop!” as soon as I saw it.

The house next door is for sale, so I called the realtor and asked if the gas station was for sale with the house.  When he said “yes”, I asked if the seller would be willing to sell the old neon arrow and star.    Unfortunately, I got the answer I didn’t want to hear.

I’m not one to give up easily so I’ll keep trying.

Wouldn’t it look cool in our Americana living room?  I think so.

Oh, yea, it would look great! Stay with that one, Kim, I’ll bet you can get it in the end. Good luck!

It may have just been easier for the realtor to say “No”. No commission on the arrow!
    Keep at it.
