This quote reminds me of a conversation many years ago with my younger brother, Chad.
He was admonishing me because, at the time, I was all about working, achieving my goals, etc. and Chad exclaimed to me in frustration one day: “You never have fun!” He insisted that life should be all about having fun. I disagreed, telling him, “Chad, no it isn’t! Sure you can have fun, but life is about obligation, goals, and duty, too. You’ve still got to work, pay bills, do your laundry, clean your house (etc). None of these things are fun.”
I remember that he was not convinced.
