Imagine your are the man in the boat and you see this massive storm come towards you. Imagine what you would be thinking and saying out loud. (“Holy crap” might be one of them.) I bet you, too, would think the same words I read in Mr. Krueger’s fabulous book (another one of my favorites).
We experienced our first mild cold front a few weekends ago, and as the storm knocked out our power, we watched the rain strip more leaves (and pine straw) from some of our trees. Comparatively speaking though, it was a very mild storm, and I imagine we will see a storm as fierce as a wild animal very soon.
